YAUATCHA CHINESE NEW YEAR 2019, YEAR OF THE PIG

Chinese New Year is the most important global campaign of the year for Yauatcha, and for the year of the pig, I constructed a creative direction around a characterful pig, perfectly suited to Yauatcha's style and aesthetic. Inspired by Jean Arp's layered art and the paintings of Gary Hume, the pig reflected the existing biomorphic shapes of the Yauatcha brand. 

Culminating in an installation in the restaurants designed by Isabel + Helen studio, the creative direction touched every area of the campaign. The illustrations were created by illustrator Quentin Monge and brought to movement by Kilogramme animation studio. I set the photography direction, working with Senior Designer Damien Crowe and photographer Kristy Noble.
