CREATIVE, LAUNCH OF HAKKASAN NIGHTCLUB, LAS VEGAS

Working with our partners, the team and I translated the Hakkasan brand into a a glamorous nightclub concept for the pitch to MGM for the deal, designing a presentation box with a video book, to be given to each member of the board. The pitch was successful, and Hakkasan is now the largest nightclub in the world at 80,000 square feet, costing over $100 million. I conceptualised and art-directed the Hakkasan facade of the MGM behind the world-famous lion.  My idea was to design for a constantly moving image evoking the Chinese lattice work of Hakkasan, which also provided a large space for advertisements. Interior signage also followed, and I continue to work with the Vegas nightclub team.
